Transport

Travel safely on Austria’s roads.

The Transport business area of PORR Umwelttechnik GmbH is handled through its subsidiaries Koller Transporte-Kies-Erdbau GmbH and PKM-Muldenzentrale GmbH. These companies provide their clients with professional solutions for the transport and disposal of bulk materials – from earth, gravel and other construction materials right through to construction waste.

Environmentally friendly fleet and modern fleet management.

With its comprehensive, versatile fleet of around 60 lorries, Koller GmbH is able to take on bulk cargo transport of all types. The state-of-the-art fleet includes the right vehicle for every task, whether you need a three-axle truck with two-way dumper, crane and three-axle trailer, or a five-axle articulated lorry with three-way dumper and half-pipe body.

Years of experience combine with modern fleet management to ensure maximum scheduling flexibility, thus increasing order capacity while minimising fuel consumption. Maintenance agreements and a fully-equipped workshop guarantee the vehicles are always ready for action.

Koller's acquisitions always comply with the highest current emissions standards. As a result, over 95% of the company vehicles are already EEV and EURO-6 compliant.

Repose while we dispose.

PKM-Muldenzentrale GmbH is a subsidiary of PORR Umwelttechnik GmbH. Its services include removing construction site waste and clearing skips and containers. The company is also active in the civil engineering business area, as well as delivering sand and ballast in special vehicles.

The PKM Muldenzentrale facilities include around 3,500 skips and containers in various sizes. Among these are various special containers – for example, watertight containers for removal of slurry wall excavations (with platform), displaced slurry (without platform), and type S7 skips certified for crane transport. Alongside its own special vehicles, PKM has access to partner company fleets, giving it a total of up to 45 lorries and 10 trailers at its disposal. These transport around 50,000 filled skips and containers every year.

Since 2015, the company has been able to boast Austria's most modern fleet management, with an almost entirely paperless order management system, bidirectional order communication, GPS-supported satellite positioning, container management with GPS positioning, digital signatures, delivery notes sent by email, fully automated weighing scales with interlock and photo documentation, driver time tracking, and (last but not least), integrated profitability calculations.

Waste materials – e.g. construction waste, wood, or industrial waste – are reloaded into the three sorting and treatment plants located on the company’s 40,000 m2 premises, where they are processed.

The company is also able to offer a “collection island” for large-scale construction works. Containers for all categories of waste are supplied at the required volume capacities. Collection of the waste, transport logistics from the collection island, and individual invoicing for each company are handled directly by PKM-Muldenzentrale.

In July 2016, an online shop offering containers for the most common types of waste was created for private customers. The type of waste and the required container can be selected directly in the online shop. Order confirmations and all further information are sent via email.
